About Darren

Darren Bishop is a Nashville native and the founder of DB Landscape & Design. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Ornamental Horticulture & Landscape Design from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and has spent more than 25 years designing and building landscapes throughout the Nashville area.

His work is guided by the belief that beautiful landscapes require both artistic vision and horticultural knowledge. From initial site analysis through plant selection, hardscape planning, and installation, Darren views each property as a unique opportunity to create an outdoor environment that feels purposeful, appropriate to the architecture, and built to last.

Known for his hand-drafted landscape plans, extensive plant knowledge, and personal oversight of each project, Darren brings a thoughtful, experienced approach to every landscape.
